BSS Landing Page Builder

Created on: Oct 19, 2026

The BSS Landing Page Builder plugin helps store owners create campaign-focused landing pages for a promoted offer, which can include one or multiple products purchased together. It also tracks where each order came from by recording the landing page, marketing campaign, traffic source, and ad tracking details such as UTM parameters, Google Click ID (gclid), Facebook Click ID (fbclid), and TikTok Click ID (ttclid). This information is then available in the admin panel for easier order attribution, campaign tracking, and conversion analysis.
PRE-REQUISITES
  • The plugin requires you to install the BSS Core plugin first.

INSTALLATION
  • Go to the Order Details Page and Download plugin package

  • Go to Administration → Configuration → Local plugins

  • Within the bundle, you get all the required files, including BSS.Core

  • Upload the zip files using the ‘Upload plugin or theme’ button

  • After uploading, install the ‘BSS Core’ Plugin first.

  • Then scroll down or write the name of the plugin in the search bar to find and install ‘BSS Landing Page & Order Source Tracking’

  • To make the plugins functional, restart the application

Recommendation: Go to > App Settings. If you find JavaScript bundling and minification, CSS bundling and minification are checked, then uncheck these two options and disable them.

CONFIGURE
  • Go to Admin → BSS → Plugins → Landing Pages → Configuration

  • Enter the License string and save it. Then clear cache.

  • Then again go to BSS → Plugins → Landing Pages → Configuration to set the configuration.

  • Enabled: Turns the landing page functionality on or off. When disabled, landing page URLs return a 404 page and cannot accept orders.

  • Default template: Sets the template preselected for new landing pages, such as Classic, Fashion, Luxury, Modern, or Gadget & Gear. Each page can use a different template.

  • Default payment methods: Sets the payment methods preselected for new landing pages, such as bKash, SSLCommerz, Stripe, PayPal Commerce, or Check / Money Order. Each page can override them.

  • Default delivery providers: Sets the default delivery providers for new landing pages. Leave empty to use all active providers; each page can override this.

  • Ask for optional checkout attributes: Shows optional checkout fields, such as gift wrapping. Required attributes are always shown, while disabling this helps keep the landing page shorter.

  • Allow admin preview: Lets authorized administrators preview an inactive landing page using ?preview=1, while regular visitors still receive a 404 page.

  • Capture leads from unfinished forms: Saves contact details from visitors who start the form but do not complete the order, allowing follow-up or retargeting from Landing Pages → Leads.

  • Stash the visitor's existing cart: Temporarily removes existing cart items so the landing page order contains only the advertised offer, then restores the original cart afterward.

  • Require an email address: Requires the shopper to enter a valid email. When disabled, a placeholder email can be generated from the phone number for flows such as cash on delivery.

  • Placeholder email domain: Sets the domain used for generated placeholder emails, for example no-email.invalid. Using .invalid prevents them from reaching a real mailbox.

  • Collect engagement statistics: Tracks anonymous landing page activity such as scrolling, clicks, form starts, coupon use, and time on page as daily totals.

  • Record visitor journeys: Records each visitor's anonymous step-by-step activity and can link that journey to a captured lead. Enable it only if it fits your privacy policy.

  • Keep journey events for (days): Sets how long visitor journey data is kept before automatic deletion, from 1 to 365 days.

  • Throttle repeat orders: Blocks excessive repeat orders from the same phone number or IP address, helping reduce spam and cash-on-delivery order flooding.

  • Throttle window (minutes): Sets the time period used to count repeat orders from the same phone number or IP address.

  • Max orders per window: Sets how many orders are allowed from the same phone number or IP address within the throttle window.

  • Require CAPTCHA: Requires CAPTCHA verification before an order is confirmed. CAPTCHA must also be configured in Configuration → Settings → General settings.

  • Enable honeypot: Uses a hidden form field to detect and reject automated submissions. Store-wide honeypot protection must also be enabled in General settings.

  • Save: After configuring the settings, click "Save" to apply your changes.

  • Landing Page Overview: The table shows each page's Name, URL, Order source, Campaign, and Active status.

  • Direct Page Access: Use the landing page URL to open the storefront page directly.
